Representative Director
A Surgeon Who Starts With Why
———— ✦ ————
Dr. Lee Gi-dae trained at Kyung Hee Medical Center, where he became a specialist in plastic surgery, and previously served as director at two plastic surgery clinics before leading BYUS. He is a member of major Korean plastic surgery societies as well as ISAPS and ASPS.
His approach is built on layered diagnosis. Before any method is chosen, he looks at whether a concern comes from skin, fat, the SMAS layer or the neck muscles, and plans non-surgical and surgical options together.
Patients often notice his candor. He explains what non-surgical care can achieve, where surgery becomes necessary, and what recovery and possible side effects involve, so that every decision is an informed one.
How Dr. Lee Works
From Consultation to Recovery
———— ✦ ————
1F · We Talk
Consultation and design: listening to your concern and examining your face before planning together.
2F · We Treat
Non-surgical care such as laser lifting, fillers and skin boosters, following a set plan.
3F · We Operate
Surgery including eyes, nose, facelift and fat grafting, with recovery on the same floor.
Less, but Better
Only as much change as needed, avoiding excessive excision, fat removal or filler.
Philosophy
The Change You Need, Not Unconditional Change
———— ✦ ————
A small concern can stay on someone's mind for a long time. Dr. Lee focuses on understanding why it arose, then considers facial balance, skin condition and your desired image before suggesting a direction.
The result he aims for is an improved impression rather than the look of surgery. Because plans differ by structure, skin and degree of aging, no two designs at BYUS are the same.
- Necessary change — separating what you want from what you need
- Accurate diagnosis — structure, skin thickness and direction of sagging
- Sufficient explanation — limits, recovery and side effects discussed openly
