The Process
A Calm, Ordered Path
———— ✦ ————
Traveling for treatment works best when each step builds on the last. At BYUS, the process mirrors the clinic itself: talk first, then treat or operate, then recover with a follow-up plan.
Much of the early work happens online, so by the time you arrive in Seoul you already understand the likely direction. The in-person consultation then confirms or refines that plan based on a full examination.
Throughout, the emphasis is on explanation. You should leave every conversation knowing your options, the limits of each, and what recovery may involve.
The Steps
Six Stages of Your Journey
———— ✦ ————
1 · Online Consultation
Send front and side photos, your goals, previous surgery records and travel dates.
2 · Initial Guidance
The BYUS team reviews your information and replies with a suggested direction and questions.
3 · Schedule and Travel
Agree on dates, then arrange flights, entry documents, insurance and accommodation.
4 · In-Person Diagnosis
On 1F We Talk, your face is examined and your plan is confirmed after full discussion.
After Diagnosis
Treatment, Recovery and Follow-Up
———— ✦ ————
Once your plan is confirmed, treatment takes place on 2F We Treat for non-surgical care or 3F We Operate for surgery. Afterward, your progress is checked and you receive a follow-up care schedule.
Before flying home, make sure you understand your aftercare instructions and how to reach the clinic with questions.
- Treatment or surgery on the appropriate floor
- Progress checks according to your follow-up schedule
- Aftercare instructions explained before you leave
- A plan for communicating once you are home

Questions & Answers
Frequently Asked Questions
———— ✦ ————
Can I skip the online consultation and just visit?
You can contact the clinic to book, but an online consultation first helps you plan travel dates and arrive prepared.
Will my plan change after the in-person exam?
It may. Photos give useful guidance, but your doctor confirms the plan only after examining your structure and skin in person.
How many visits will I need?
It depends on the treatment. Ask the team about the typical number of visits and follow-up checks for your plan.
Is treatment possible on the same day as consultation?
That depends on the treatment and your doctor's assessment. BYUS does not rush decisions; ask about scheduling when you plan your trip.
How do I share records from previous surgery?
Attach them to your online consultation or send them by email. Records help your doctor understand what has been done before.
